I just looked through Google Map's API licensing options. Obviously you may quickly max out your limit. It doesn't look like there's really an extended paid model to increase the limit by much? 100k requests is the only additional limit I see.
Does Google not offer much higher limits if you're willing to pay? I'd be curious to try a similar app, but it seems that popularity might kill one pretty quickly with such low API limits.
