Also, ride a bike and filter past all the motorcyclists who get stuck between the cars.

Or keep people away from cars.

Also, drive more slowly.

Or drive.

I can also skip all traffic jams on my motorcycle. When I see a traffic jam, I get excited.

While you're at it, move out of the way I'm pushing my motorcycle through there.

The best trick is to avoid running anywhere near cars at all. Find a nice track. Of course, don't drive there, cycle there or use a scooter. What's the point if you are making the world unsafe for others.

But those cars are so unsafe so we can't have them here. Now get on your motorcycle and lane split through traffic to work.

stay in your lane, go the speed limit and ALWAYS look for an escape route.

Go outside and everything is covered in fucking cars.

Ride like you are invisible. Assume you don’t exist and drivers do not know you are there. Even if you’re directly in front of them.

here is a tip: just drive a car. I understand that there are things you can do to lower the chances of getting hit, but at the end of the day there is way more risk associated with this mode of transportation.

Did that around here and you’ll have people swerving around you.

And make sure everyone was clear of the 'exhaust' for a few miles.

I used this technique to cross the street in Vietnam, oncoming motorcycles look where they’re going, and they trust that you will too. Looking at an oncoming motorcycle just results in both of you coming to a stop. Guess the ski instructors were right: you go where you look.

Can I propose a simple-as-fuck solution?

Just follow the car in front of you. That's what the majority of driving is anyway.

Wind your window down, stick your hand out, and gesture for them to pass.

It works most times I've tried it.

If you want to have fun, go drive on a racing track. Don’t endanger commuters who have no choice but to drive.

Better yet, learn to drive on a motorcycle, looking over your shoulder becomes a natural reflex.

Just ride as a passenger through a road with cars parked on the side. When I did that about 1.5 year ago, it missed about a third of the cars and pictured a couple as moving on the driving lane.
