What should the headline be?

sort by: page size:

What headline would you suggest?

Should use the article’s headline.

What's your proposed headline?

Can you give an example of what you think a better headline would be in this case?

That should be your headline :)

I disagree. In my opinion, an ideal headline should be a condensation of the content into a few catchy words. If engagement is all that matters, is "READ THIS ARTICLE OR YOU WILL DIE!!!" a good headline?

How would you reword the headline?

Whatever the headline is needs to come from the article, and we're more than happy to update it again if someone can suggest a better one.

You have to at least propose a proper headline...

Yes, I think the headline must reflect the content of the article, otherwise it confuses me and make me write false comments and wastes my time.

Now there's a headline idea!

I had the same thought. It would be good to adjust the headline accordingly.

Sometimes a headline is all you need. Often times people won't read past the headline.

Can we get a better headline?

Looking at (1) the document contents, (2) its title page, and (3) the HN headline, the HN headline seems reasonable. How would you formulate it?

The headline!

> it’s headline

its headline

Just because the title is technically accurate, doesn't mean it's useful. An ideal headline should accurately and succinctly communicate the contents of the page it links to.

Would it be reasonable to put that entire paragraph in the headline instead?
