Interesting. I was thinking most people from the target audience (tech) would have ad blockers installed. I can't imagine being a more or less tech-savvy and not using an ad blocker.
Are they though? Last I'd heard, it was still a minority of people using ad-blockers. Techies, sure, but most people are clueless, and only use ad-blockers when their techie spouses/relatives install them.
My experience is different - almost everyone I know uses an ad blocker. Some of them have installed them for themselves, others have helpful friends. But I rarely see someone scrolling a webpage with the ads on it.
That's possible. I thought most people with that mindset would be running adblockers, so probably wouldn't be interested in paying for an ad-free experience.

I disagree. The tech crowd is using adblockers to prevent spying and resource consumption. But majority of people running adblockers just don't want to see ads.
