EE? Electrical Engineer?

What’s EE? Electrical Engineering?

We're excited to announce that we'll be launching our flagship electrical engineering community next week called "EEWeb". The focus of this community is to create a place for hardware design engineers to call home.

Our site includes an online toolbox, daily featured sections, community driven articles and projects, and custom engineer profiles where you can follow other engineers based on your interest tags.

You can see a screenshot of our homepage here. http://www.eeweb.com/pics/site/eeweb.png

Are you an EE? What exactly would you like to work on?

I think EE stands for Electronic Engineering in this context.

Yep, I'm an EE.

Working on a hardware startup. Building an epaper based tablet. In fact, one of my test PCBs just arrived earlier today from OSHpark[1]. Still a WIP but I'm looking forward to cooking some electronics tonight on a hotplate :)

I love doing this work. (Electrical engineering, firmware design, cloud backend, etc.) I just really wish I went to school for the EE though.

We're excited to announce the launch of EEWeb, our flagship electrical engineering community. If you're a hacker looking to learn a thing or two about hardware design, or are a full blow engineering professional that needs a place to call home, we hope you enjoy what we've put together. We even have our own original comic called "Return-to-Zero" that features some fun strips based around hardware design.

Experienced EE here.

Yes.

Just leaving a comment here, if you are an electrical engineer and you are interested in working on thing like this, I'd love to talk to you.

There are a few EE's lurking around here, myself included. Can you elaborate on what you are trying to build?
