It looks like he's responding to each individual comment thread, as if to try to get people to notice via their threads link

sort by: page size:

Well the first one is the beginning of a comment thread, the other two are replies to the top one. If you click the top one you see that there are multiple replies and he appears to be a troll.

It's his way of staying active in the community without having to constantly check threads for replies. A fun optimization, if you ask me :)

Every time he posts someone replies to say he doesn't know what he's talking about. (possibly not realizing who they're replying to)

Whoa, easy with the thread policing. He's specifically replying to people asking him questions, not randomly shouting.

How is he managing to post these comments repeatedly? I need to make a new account here every day or two because I get flagged almost immediately.

They're his posts?

Looks like he is either farming karma, or running some kind of experiment. I found several visited links in his submission history (and all of them reposted 5-6x).

Looks like he is a bot. Just posting three links everywhere

You should follow all his comments. He's like this all the time. It's a little freaky.

My guess is that he knows, and posts anyway. I have come across this a few times.

Maybe he uses other users' accounts to express his opinions.

> plus he always leaves comments when he does so

How do you know this?

He's the person that submitted the post. I assume he added it for context.

I've linked to his first appearance in the comment thread, but he posted several more. All worth reading, imho.

He posted the same comment 3 times?

I don't remember seeing any responses in my data set. I think I have seen him respond to comments before, hence where I got my inspiration.

I also know that he has people who actually are connected to him (he friended them back) and their comments appear to show up differently from the regular followers.

He does reply to those comments a lot more, intensifying the illusion that if you write to him, he will read it.

Probably this is why he put here those links, to redirect the new set of users to discussions from the old set of users.

It looks like this guy has created multiple accounts and posted the same URL multiple times.

It's self promotion. He's selling himself as a thought leader of mediocre thoughts. Other people who do it are also spamming.
