None of these things that people are saying are the feature I want. I want a volume slider.

There's still no volume slider.

for gods sake please have a volume slider

yeah agreed, i have an in with some of the devs on this - the volume slider was a secondary feature and is on the list last time i heard, stay tuned (haha) for the next release,

Needs a volume slider.

Needs a volume slider.

Hi thanks! 1.Not sure about a volume slider - always saw this as avoidable for simplicity and UX. 2. You absolutely right. Its a must. Was to complicated so far... we'll see

Sorry about that! It's a player made by Omny, my podcast host. But I'm unhappy with them for other reasons too, so I'll be switching away soon — self-hosting, and using the native media player. So your volume slider wishes will be fulfilled. Thank you for the request.

This is not a UI direction, its just a missing feature. Most websites with audio have a volume slider.

Volume slider is useless to me. I adjust volume with the scroll gesture on my mouse pad.

I like the minimalist design but I think a volume slider would be nice!

Needs a volume slider. Hate the turtle but thats just me.

What is with audio apps on web refusing to add volume sliders? I see it on instagram, tiktok, podcast sites, this site, etc. I genuinely don't understand why I would want to manage the volume of one app with my system volume. Do people actually want everything to be the same volume?

It doesn't have a volume control, I really can't understand the point of these "minimal UIs" that don't have the very most basic needed _feature_.

Agree. I really just want the same functionality that was there with the click button from the old headphones: volume up/down, play/pause/prev/next.

Volume buttons please.

I don't understand why anyone would prefer a volume slider to discrete up/down buttons. I almost never want to quickly slide to a specific volume, it's always "this is a little too loud" or "I didn't quite hear that."

The action I want is a quick relative tick up or down, then listen again to see if the improvement is adequate, then repeat as necessary until it's perfect.

Sliders are good for quickly moving by a large amount to a rough absolute position. But they're utter crap for fine adjustment.

Am I the only one who gets infuriated when trying to get to the exact spot I want by rolling my finger ever so slightly to get a slider to move by half a pixel? It takes forever and it gives you RSI!

Why? You have global volume control, music players have it. To me it's the same as asking every website for brightness adjustment bar or font size control.

You've GOT to be kidding. That's the new volume control "slider"?!

And what's the problem with having a system level mixer instead of every app having their own volume slider in software?
