He did say he no longer needed a house.

sort by: page size:

He is no longer the sole occupant of that house.

On the bright side he doesn't own a house anymore so he doesn't have to worry about paying rent.

What comfortable life do you think he's giving up? Owning only 10 houses instead of 45?

The last I had heard he bought a house outside of Medford OR and was living, in his terms, "simply". My assumption was that he had walked away with enough money to buy a house outright where the taxes weren't outrageous and is just living on the residuals at a much more down to earth level.

It was an investment property that needed some work. He had to put about $10k into it, but it's good to go now.

He mentioned that he has a mortgage, so moving is probably not an option for him at this time.

If he owns his house, he doesn't need more because his main living expense is paid for.

He also bought a house. Perfect example of "Do as I say, not as I do."

On Joe Rogan he said he was selling all his houses and will rent.

He's renting as he stated in his last Joe Rogan appearance. This is the easiest way to own no home.

He doesn't intent to live there, at least that's what he claimed in the application.

Why not? He can still move while putting up his mortgaged property on rent.

Given the article it sounds like he's satisfied all of the conditions, everyone wants him out (hostile), he's filed the paperwork (open), he's had it written about in the paper (notorious), and he's established residence by camping in the living room.

Even if he doesn't get the house he's still living rent free.

He's renting right now so him and his wife are going to buy a house.

I only say renting because he made a big deal of selling all of his property a while back.

He, uh, retained it in the form of a house?

The article doesn't have the picture of his house anymore

But not, apparently, built a house.
