It's much less than 40% outside the US.

sort by: page size:

Closer to 30%, and even less in North America.

14% is worldwide, in the US it's roughly 50%

The interesting thing to me is that it's only 96% in the US. Worldwide it's closer to 78%, according to the linked article.

If you look between countries you would see that it‘s usually around 15-25%. So it‘s around 20%, almost everywhere.

I was surprised that they have 66% share in US since they have only about 11% worldwide. That means the average outside the US must be well below 11%.

I was just about to post the same link. Outside the US the numbers are a lot lower. Outbound to some countries is 0%. South Africa wasn’t in the report though.

Also only ~4% in the US, and virtually absent in Africa.

26% and 20% were US figures, that was a little mixed up I think - sorry. The rest was global.

you can say the same about the US: 50% to 24%

42% in the US, not in the real world

It’s roughly 30-40% world wide and latest stats in the US say between 25 and 35%.

I don’t know if people are overestimating but it sure as shit does surprise me each and every day.

55% - that's frighteningly low, for a developed country.

Show your math on 0.2%. This does not appear to hold true for any country I can think of off the top of my head. US and Canada are somewhere around 1.3-1.5% last I checked.

I see, still pretty far from India’s 84% though. UK, Sweden, and Denmark are in the 70s, and everything else is lower.

Specifically the US population, this number is much less globally.

It's higher than one percent, but we don't publicize those numbers. It's hard to compute the difference in ratio internationally vs. domestically because we only have the optional user specified location field to go off of.

More like US 4% and China 7%.

Few? World is on 27%. South Asia on 60%, North Americq is 47% , Europe on 43%

Check around. I don't call a quarter of the world "few"

* Globally, including really poor countries.

USA, EU, etc. are more than 40%.
