Sadly, I've come to expect this kind of thing from the New York Times.

sort by: page size:

I'm surprised this wasn't an nytimes article. This is very typical of them.

Once again. It's the New York Times.

(Edit: I misread your "unfortunately so" as "unfortunately no" and I was super confused.)

I find your comment disheartening because I was kind of hoping that I was guessing wrong. Can I still hope that things are not quite as bad at the NY Times as at local weeklies?

Agreed, I'm surprised to see something of the sort on NY times. It's pure sensationalism.

I'm waiting to see if the NY Times tells me I should be outraged by this.

God the nytimes had become so click-baity, it's sad to see this happening.

That's why the New York Times isn't to be trusted.

Ironically written by the New York Times.

Somehow I doubt this applies to NY Times readers.

It's the NY Times, I'm not sure I can trust anything they publish at this point.

If The New York Times, a 166 year old newspaper with a tradition of fine reporting, can lose all its credibility over that ... I don't even know what to say. You sound like a terrible customer and I'm sure they're happy not to have you?

It's the New York Post ...

This is going to bring the New York Times down.

The New York Times does this. Unforgivable.

Someone's upset at the NYT

I wrote the same two points in the comments of the article when it was published. I'm really disappointed with the NYT, having subscribed just a week before.

Can't wait for the NYT to collapse.

It's the New York Times btw...

Given that it's part of The New York Times, I'd be skeptical.
