I’m English, and lived in England for 23 years. I have never ever heard of Scots before.

It seems to be missing most of Scotland. No Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth, or Inverness. It does have Stirling, Aberdeen, and Falkirk. It's also missing parts of Australia: no Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, or Alice Springs.

I don’t think it’s “no true scotsman” when someone is saying they aren’t scot and that they’ve never been within 1000 miles of Scotland.
