With the ability to run iOS apps, the lack of a touch screen leaves me scratching my head. The only reason I have resisted buying one is that the lack of a touch screen is, in my view, going to make it feel like I missed the boat once that's inevitably added.
Possibly in the past, but at this point I think everyone expects touchscreens to be multi-touch, which this can't be, not fully. (Since a higher finger can obstruct a lower one.) It's an awesome gimmick, but no one would try to sell a touch-integrated product with only single-touch now.
Sorry if I missed it, but I was sure they would have introduced touch screens along with M2. Normally I don't care for touch, but surely it would be good for running iOS apps more seamlessly.
As far as I can tell there is still no support for touch screen displays. It is a shame that the data rate gets higher and higher but this simple feature is still missing.
