I thought the same thing. I had to modify the site CSS to even manage.

I noticed the same, what's going on? Too much complex CSS?

It also doesn't look right if you turn off CSS styling.

Sorry about that! I’m not great with Web Design, as you can tell. If anyone wants to contribute a CSS fix, or just a pointer to a good article on how to fix this, I’d be very grateful!

Yeah, I had to add background-color: lightgray to the css, and disable javascript to get rid of the cursors to make it the site usable.

Yeah, I edited the CSS before reading...

I thought the same thing. Actually I thought "no css", make it the way pages look when only the html loads.

Hmm. That was not the intent. Let me take a look and see if I can fix the css.

Thanks for letting me know.

This blog needs some serious CSS tweaking.

If that's the case, then I would say the CSS was poorly structured.

gah, they hard-coded styling. I tried to get rid of the awful, readability-hurting css in firebug but that did little.

Is it just me that thinks the CSS on this site is poor and makes the site difficult to read? Viewed it on Firefox.

God that site needs some CSS

That site specifically was a porn site. Our 3.0 upgrade of the site involved a lot "get this working, NEXT!" so the CSS is kind of a mess. I've got a nice stat page to show me just how much of a mess now though!

I feel all this needs is a little CSS to make things actually readable. In it's current state, it looks awful. Really confusing.

That sounds easy to fix, just some custom css?

Oh, well looks like I'll need to delve into editing the browser's .css now to adjust it to my liking.

Yeah, I changed the CSS with the inspector. I don't know if it's because I have a low resolution screen, but I can't actually read it at all without doing this.

Was anyone else expecting the thing to be fully CSS rather than a .jpg?!

when I saw the page I pressed refresh thinking the css was broken. Then I realised thats how its supposed to look.
