It looks like that because they only release FSD to Tesla cult members that know the software is dangerous. Once they start rolling out to lower safety scores (i.e. normal people) the suicide missions will begin.
I've had access to FSD Beta since like the very first version. It hasn't made any significant progress to be honest. It still does the dumbest most unsafe things at the absolute worst time. In super ideal conditions it may be ok, but for the most part, I don't even try to use it anymore.
I’ve been in a Model 3 with 1 fender bender and a near head-on collision due to using FSD in just two days. I wouldn’t trust FSD myself for a few more years at least. A major breakthrough has to happen because the current version feels not safe enough to be in public beta.
