What Google Fi UI do you use on a regularly basis?

Google Fi

Google Fi is for consumers.

What about Google Fi?

Google Fi project.

I use Google Fi because the SIM card is attached to my Gmail account where I can use A real 2FA

Google Fi is one of the best services that Google offers. I am trying to cut down on my Google dependence, but I don't see myself leaving Fi any time soon.

Google Fi as well

Google Fi is T-mobile service in the US (and Sprint, which T-mobile acquired).

I've got a nexus 5x on google fi and while it's fine compared with the cost of my iphone, I've been unimpressed with the UX. Feels a bit clunky and non intuitive in certain areas-- this morning I was trying to get a number from the calls log and ended up redialing inadvertently. I wanted to call from a land line so I hung up abruptly (unfortunately my callee had just picked up). Just little nuisances like that, that has me missing my iphone.

Any reason you didn't consider Google Fi? I've been pretty happy with it.

Google Fi seems decent. But course it is Google itself, not sure what shenanigans the pull.

>Google Fi ... is an MVNO telecommunications service by Google that provides telephone calls, SMS, and mobile broadband using cellular networks and Wi-Fi. Google Fi uses networks operated by T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular.

Don't know about Fi. I am thinking of the other products that Google sells, none of which has any support.

I use Google Fi and I upgraded to the AI tier just fine

Google Fi is free?

I'm wondering how much I can de-Googlefi my life (see multiple other threads about G Suite legacy free going away) while also keeping Google Fi for voice and data. :\ It seems like if I keep any single thing, a hook reaches out and drags me fully back in.

To activate Google Fi service on a phone, I need Google Fi app which drags in at least open gapps but I don't know if that's adequate without jumping to the full Google Play Services.

Google Fi also makes extensive use of wi-fi for texting and calls, which definitely requires OS-level hooks.

Google Fi, is one of the best services I've been on thus far and I've been with 4 other carriers in 10 years.

It's great for domestic and international travel and I don't have to worry (as much) about my number getting ported, so big security win.

Google Fi does everything you ask for (and works with more phones that just those that Google manufactures).
