I read reviews that actually say that the 2nd gen pros have better ANC than the Maxs.

So depending on what’s important for you they may be the better choice.

Stick to the Pro. The EVO are based on TLC which are cheaper to manufacture and have a reduced life-span.

Yeah, I looked at the pros too. I don't think they were powerful enough for me, and I went with the SB2 instead.

The M1 Max and M2 Max are quite serviceable too in not jumping to an ultra.

This is a E series versus T series question.

If your care about quality at all, you should choose the T series.

AX2 and AVX512 But probably more of a factor is that people are used to them and trust them.

"Stage 2" is very comfortable. It can give you a lot of power without the effort of doing research and acquiring experience.
