What exactly is wrong with considering China as the enemy? China is a genocidal, totalitarian state that actively tramples over human rights. IMO it is the closest thing to pure evil in this world next to the DPRK.

China is an evil empire.

China = Enemy /of the entire world/.

You forgot that last part. China's trade dealings are outright hostile. China's overlooking slave-wages, and suicides tied to working conditions or lack thereof.

China must be considered /by all/ to be an enemy of the rest of the globe.

This is not saying that the Chinese populace are enemies, but the Chinese Government, which controls the populace, is most definitely so.

China is the adversary of the free world.

China is a totalitarian regime quickly turning the entire world, not just the US, into its enemy. The relationship is whatever China makes it to be.

The China mentioned in the article is not China, actually it is the China belong to Communist Party of China. It will be the enemy and virus of the world until Communist Party of China step down.

China is still the single greatest threat to world peace, from Tiananmen Square to ethnic cleansing, the government of China is a despotic regime of murderers. Anything the west can do to combat this, it’s a good thing, and shame on any American brand that puts profits over human rights.

If you want to know if China is an enemy look at what they do to their own people. That's their own people. What do you think they have in mind for everyone else? Is this a regime that cares about human rights or the rights of the individual? They're like the Kings of every Kingdom before the 18th century, i.e. I rule for the Greater Good, which I define in my terms.

Why is China our enemy?

Xi's China is evil. It props up North Korea, a country that mercilessly starves and punishes its millions of citizens, a country that can soon strike with nuclear missiles at Japan, South Korea, US, Australia, India, etc. It pollutes the air and its neighbors air with reckless abandon. It floods the river and ocean with plastics with no regard. It acts like a baby whenever Taiwan, a small but free democratic country, wants to be recognized by the world. It acts like a bully against its neighbors regarding south asia sea. It acts like a bully whenever dali lama visits other countries. It suppresses muslims in Xinjiang and buddhists in Tibet. It has a massive censorship/surveillance on its own citizens. It props up other dictators around the world in Venezuela, Russia, Laos, Cambodia, etc. It floods the world with cheap shoddy products that destroy manufacturing, communities, and families in democratic countries.

And we are the ones helping. We buy products made in China.

Please, stop doing business with China. Please, punish China with sanctions and tariffs. If you wish for your kids futures to not be run by dictators.

Way to go with the attempt at obfuscation, but China is actively engaged in imperial encroachment on Taiwan, abused Hong Kong and is suppressing any and all dissent, and are imprisoning people based on ethnicity and religion in concentration camps. They also threatened Japan with nuclear first strike just in the last 96 hours.

The Africa situation, the spread of misinformation and obstruction with regards to covid, and the endless parade of human rights abuses in their manufacturing infrastructure are also front and center in the world's eyes.

By all means, though, continue with your narrative. Obviously China is just a force for good in the world, and is just misunderstood because of all that nasty CIA propaganda.

Oh come on. China has clear ambitions to be the worlds superpower. I have my gripes about the US, but China is clearly a much worse outcome for human rights. It’s not that they are the “enemy”, it’s that it would be flat out unacceptable for the CCP to control the entire planet. What’s plaguing American academia, and America at large, is China’s influence and bribes.

China is a cancer.

China is the single greatest threat to freedom, human rights, and prosperity, the world over. I don't know how anyone who makes money from China can sleep at night.

China is a threat to the world. They have North Korea in their back pocket, they put their own citizens into concentration camps and are rapidly on the move to expand their territory. We can also mention being the biggest threat to the environment, spying, Covid and a lot more. the bottom line is that something needs to be done.

China is the new evil empire

China is the true enemy of freedom for the 21st century.

What makes China "the enemy"?

China is a mass-copying, intelectual property stealing, communist dictatorship. The other countries in Asia dont like them. China is the mordor of Asia

China is an economic enemy, not a military one.
