Interesting, my experience with bing has been pretty positive. Chatgpt would be useless for me because it doesn't have any access to the internet.

I agree that the bing integration is worse than the chatgpt site itself. I also notice that common people arround me use the chatgpt site. Not bing.

My wife, who uses whatever default is offered unless I provide a compelling enough argument, said she'd actively switch to Bing if it incorporated ChatGPT even in its current form.

Maybe Microsoft have everything they need to run their own copy of ChatGPT so they consider the risks mitigated?

I guess they can't really migrate the users though. Maybe they will push more aggressively for people to use bing going forward.

More precisely it requires to see Edge in the user agent. Any browser that allows settings user-agent per site (I use Orion) allows you to use Bing chat.

Wait until ChatGPT11 is embedded with Bing, Edge, and Windows. And it cannot be turned off because it will make the user's life easier according to MS' sales team.

I have tried their Bing android app. It asked me to log in into Microsoft account and it was trying to add me into the waitlist. Unsuccessfuly with an error code. This is funny. I uninstalled it immediately and gave 1*. They are advertising something which is not available yet. But it's Microsoft so nothing new ...

TIP: Use chatgpt API. It is very cheap and configurable. It is easy to use it over Python or REST.
